This Return and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds may be accepted, and how you can initiate the process.
Returns Eligibility
Customers may request a return within 3 calendar days from the date the product is delivered. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition—unworn, unused, unwashed, and free from any damage or stains. All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact and included with the returned item. Any product that shows signs of wear or usage, or is returned without the original packaging, may not be accepted for return and may be sent back to the customer.
Items marked as final sale, discounted beyond a certain threshold, gift cards, or digital/downloadable products are not eligible for return or refund. We kindly ask customers to review product details and sizing carefully before placing an order.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please send an email to info@modeandminimal.com within the 5-day return window. Include your order number, the reason for return, and any relevant photographs in case of defective or damaged items. Our team will review your request and, if eligible, provide a Return Authorization along with the address to which the product should be sent.
Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item was delivered damaged or incorrectly. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the product reaches us safely, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returns without tracking.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please notify us within 5 days of delivery. Email us with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the defect or incorrect item. Once we confirm the issue, we will offer either a replacement, a full refund, or store credit, based on your preference and product availability. In such cases, return shipping costs will be borne by us.
Refund Process and Timelines
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return conditions. If approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. Refunds are typically processed within 5 to 7 business days after we receive the returned product. However, the time it takes for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. We will send you a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.
Please note that if the returned item is found to be used, damaged, or otherwise not in acceptable condition, the return may be declined, and the item may be sent back to you.
Exclusions and Non-Returnable Situations
Returns will not be accepted if the request is made after the 5-day return window or if the product has been clearly used, washed, or altered in any way. We also do not accept returns of certain items such as intimate wear (for hygiene reasons), final sale items, gift cards, or digital goods. Unauthorized returns sent without prior communication or approval will not be processed, and the item may be returned to you without refund.
